Location: London
Salary: Up to £24,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30-6pm
Job Description:
Our client, a long-standing and successful chartered surveyors specialising in offering bespoke residential and commercial property management, is seeking a proactive and organised Maintenance Coordinator to join their experienced and proactive team. The Maintenance Coordinator will play a crucial role in the administration and organisation of various maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient operation and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the administration of maintenance tasks including preparing quotes, scheduling appointments and managing diaries.
- Liaise with block management companies, property owners, tenants and contractors to schedule maintenance works and provide updates on job progress.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback on completed jobs, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues raised.
- Arrange access to sites for maintenance works, coordinating with property managers and residents to minimise disruptions.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and supplies required for maintenance projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Handle adhoc duties and administrative tasks as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within the property maintenance or construction industry.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Property Management software (ideally QUBE) and MS Office suite.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards related to property maintenance is desirable.
