One of our clients are looking for a reliable and hardworking Back Yard Porter to join their team and take care of their property.
You will be responsible for rubbish collection and cleaning of the yard areas of the property. You will also ensure that the property is safe and comfortable for our residents and visitors.
About the role:
- Starting salary of £26614.04 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
Working Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm on Saturday
20 days holiday per annum and company pension.
Bonus payable at Christmas

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting the Head and Deputy concierge the successful candidate will be responsible for rubbish collection and cleaning of the yard areas (mainly to the rear) of the property.
To note the role involve climbing exterior staircases to collect refuse sacks, handling and moving bins and paladins, breaking down cardboard and other refuse items.
Working as part of an established team the building is a high end, prestige development where the residents expect a premium level of service.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caretaker, or Porter or in a similar role
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and maintenance techniques and tools
- Ability to perform minor repairs and light change
- The successful candidate must be physically fit and comfortable with dealing with rubbish bags and recycling, jet washing, sweeping, exterior cleaning and any duties stipulated by their line manager (The Head and Deputy Concierges).

- Awareness of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
