ROLE

To ensure that designated communal areas are kept clean and tidy, as per the specific responsibilities detailed below.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all residents' bins are checked, emptied daily and taken to site rubbish bin area. All residents' recycling bags removed and taken to site recycling bin area
• All rubbish bins and recycling bins to be taken out of bin area daily, ready for refuse collection
• Regular sweeping and jet washing of all external lightwells
• Regular sweeping of rear external stairs
• Regular sweeping of residents' external balconies and fire escape stairs
• Daily cleaning of staff toilet
• Weekly cleaning of contractors' toilet
• Weekly sweeping of staff basement floor area and stairs
• Monthly sweeping of other basement floor areas and stairs
• Reporting of any defects to main reception desk/Deputy Building Manager/Building Manager

Additional notes

• Appropriate hazard signs to be displayed while undertaking wet work. All H&S requirements to be adhered to
• From time to time, additional ad-hoc duties (light maintenance/cleaning) may be required to be carried out
