VERTO HR are currently seeking an experienced Part-time Weekend Concierge to join a high-end residential development based in South West London.

Shift pattern: Friday 6am-7pm, Saturday 9am-1pm

Salary: £11, 052.09

AIM OF POST:

To staff the main reception, monitor CCTV coverage, provide concierge duties, assist with visitor and vehicle orientation, assist in directing deliveries, provide a visible presence around the development whilst on patrol and assist residents with all porterage and concierge activities to include key holder and parcel deliveries. In addition to provide any reasonable ad-hoc services as the Managing Agent might require.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* To meet and greet the residents, answer enquiries by telephone, email or callers to the front desk. Assist the residents, guests and visitors with reasonable job tasks and individual requests to be dealt with efficiently whilst maintaining reception cover.

* To ensure that the highest levels of customer care and service are maintained at all times. Deal effectively with complaints, take the correct action and remain courteous at all times. Where necessary, pass details of any complaint on to your line manager.

* Maintain a clean and smart appearance at all times, wearing a suit and tie. A jacket isn't compulsory at all times but shirt should be neat, tucked in and ironed. A tie should be worn at all times.

* Ensure effective security of residents and the building at all times including manning any CCTV and aid the smooth running of car parking facilities.

* Check and screen all visitors and guests, ensuring they have permission to be present in the building. Report any suspicious/unusual behaviour to the line manager or call the police if necessary.

* Ensure that the concierge controls all contractors on site, that each of them signs in and has the correct permit to work on the site if instructed by head office.

* Supervise the cleaning staff making sure that communal areas are being cleaned in accordance with the terms of reference

* Correct reporting of any security/health and safety issues, incidents and complaints. Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency and immediately advising your line manager.

* Responsibility for all deliveries to main reception desk, receiving and safekeeping of all parcels/registered mail. Correct issuing of all parcels/registered mail with a record which must be signed by residents. Notify residents of any deliveries to arrange collection from the front desk. All parcels need to be logged along with keys going in and out.

* To coordinate, monitor, control and maintain a key control system to ensure the safekeeping of both residents & building keys and to ensure that the key disclaimer forms are completed prior to the release of keys to a third party.

* Pro-actively deal with any maintenance and cleaning problems identified within the property and regularly carry out site inspections to minimize/identify any problems. This involves escorting and supervising contractors around the communal areas of the property as might be necessary.

* Ensure that the maintenance schedules are adhered to for contractors on site and that operational checks are carried out and recorded. Additionally, to ensure that the operational health and safety items in the policy manuals are being adhered to.

* Arrangements are in place to spread salt if needed during winter times to ensure pathways are clear of ice.

* When the BMS panel alarm sounds at the desk this indicates a problem with the heating & hot water supply, Reset the panel in the plant room within 1 hour. Call the maintenance company if the problem persists.
