General Manager - Prestigious Residential Development
Location: London, SW3
Salary: £40,000-£50,000pa depending on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM for the right candidate)An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of a high-end residential development. This role requires a proactive, highly organised individual with strong leadership skills to manage daily operations, ensure compliance, and provide exceptional service to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth site operations.
- Lead and manage an onsite team, fostering a high standard of service and professionalism.
- Oversee maintenance, health & safety compliance, and contractor performance.
- Process supplier invoices, and track financial activities.
- Maintain a strong sense of pride in the development, ensuring it remains well-presented and efficiently run.
- Monitor resident needs, handle inquiries, and address any complaints or concerns effectively.
- Ensure adherence to leasehold obligations and support the managing agent in maintaining compliance.
- Respond to urgent matters and emergencies, liaising with relevant services when required.
About You:
- Previous experience in a General Manager, Estate Manager, or similar role within residential settings.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of property management, health & safety, and compliance regulations.
