Our Client are currently looking for an experienced Handyman/Cleaner to join their team at a luxury residential development based in North West London.
Working every Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm and Saturday 8:30am - 1pm.
Salary is £32,000 - £34,000 annually.
Duties include:
- To be able to deal with emergency procedure in the event of fire and flooding due to burst pipes
- To be well informed of the fire alarm procedure and fire alarm system
- To be able to understand the operation of boiler, central heating and hot water system
- To be able to understand the lighting system, to change bulbs and adjust timing for lights inside and outside the building
- To be able to do small repairs and maintenance work inside and outside the building
- To be able to do some gardening work (grass cutting, planting flowers etc)
- Clean rear drive and bin area
- Check the basement parking area for drain blockages, collection of leaves, lighting and sump pump
- Check rear parking area for drain blockages and lighting
- Check the general condition and cleanliness of the ground floor, porters lobby, entry porch, lifts & surrounding areas, mezzanine floor and chute area
- One floor must be hoovered and cleaned thoroughly each day
- All floors should be completed once every week
Weekly cleaning & checks
- All chute areas to be washed
- Leaves to be collected from rear drive
- Check ventilation area inside the building on each floor
- Check service area inside the building on each floor
- Check all lightbulbs and replace if necessary
- Inside the lifts to be cleaned (including gods lift)
Monthly cleaning & checks
- All brassware within the building to be polished
- All outside lights to be checked, cleaned and replace if necessary
- Check your supply of cleaning materials
- All lock up garage doors to be washed
Quarterly cleaning & checks
- Check garages roof for any drain blockage
- Check main roof for drain blockage or any other problem
- Check the roof lighting
